P & O Cruiseferries Two new sound and lighting systems were designed for two new P&O North Sea Ferries' the 'Pride of Rotterdam' and the 'Pride of Hull'. The new vessels have accommodation including luxury suites and all cabins have their own private facilities. They also offer an à la carte restaurant, a two tiered show lounge, wine bar, business centre and even a cyber zone, where passengers can surf the web. The systems were designed to be simple to operate on a daily basis as the ships sail daily from Hull to Rotterdam, thus everything is controlled from SMPTE time code and the shows run more or less automatically.
